Well- it seems no good deed goes unpunished! :)
Easter weekend Dad cut back the pampas grass in Grandpa's backyard in San Diego. Pampas grass has nasty, sharp blades and Dad had the cuts to prove he'd been at war with that pampas grass. But to add insult to injury- poison oak had to get it's revenge too. It seems that poison oak was hiding in that pampas grass. And in Dad's usual style he was doing the yard work in his shorts and a short sleeve shirt. At least this time he wasn't wearing flip flops! About one week after working at Grandpa's-- Dad broke out with poison oak all over his hands, legs and face (everywhere that he wasn't covered)--just in time for his Sunday release as Bishop! Ha Ha!True to his competitive nature - Dad is ready to take on the rest of the pampas grass. He plans to go back next month and finish the job-- and he plans to win this time. Can't wait to see him in his "biovac" suit chopping the pampas! Hee! Hee!
Wishing you a speedy recovery and no more itching. Calamine Lotion rocks!
