We continued our tradition of making candy houses. This year I went green- refusing to buy any new candy. We dug out our candy bag from years past and used whatever was left. Dad insisted on eating jellybeans that were at least 2 years old. He thought they tasted great! I guess you can't go wrong with jellybeans. Here are the results of our labors:
Dad 's "Merry Christmas Mansion" & Karli's "Peace, Love, Happiness Cottage".
Mom's "Pastel Palace" and Elder Miller's "Casa de Ecuador"
I wanted to do Michael's in the colors of the Ecuador flag (red, yellow and blue) but do you know how hard it is to find blue candy-especially in a bag of 2year old leftover candies?
We couldn't forget Marty...we know how much he MISSED the candy houses this year--so we made one for him:
Marty's "Man-Cave"
Karli and I had fun with this one! That's what you get for not coming home for Thanksgiving, Marty! With Black Friday over- we are heading full speed ahead into the holiday season. Can't wait to see you all later this month. Enjoy the season!
