Our Week with the Marvelous Moberly Kids!

March 4 - March 9, 2012

Karli and I had the opportunity to go to Simi Valley and stay with the Moberly kids for nearly a week, while  Kristal and Ryan went a little get away trip to Las Vegas.

What a treat it was to hang out with these cuties for a week!
When we arrived we found this:
two sick little boys  :(
In spite of being sick nearly all week they were pretty happy little guys- ready for fun!

First off Brooklyn and Caden treated Karli and Nana to a fabulous fashion show!
Look at those poses!   Very "GQ", Caden!

Karli entertained us with her silly balloon creations!

We played a little balloon tennis!

We had a "glow in the dark" dip in the tub with maybe only a minor casualty.
Nana might have broken a glow stick and squirted glow in the dark juice in her eyes, momentarily blinding her.  She might of screamed, which caused Kyson some distress, and she might have dramatically staggered to the farthest bathroom to douse her eyes with water- even though the closest sink was right behind her.  She might have gotten glow in the dark juice all over her clothes and the bathroom, and she might have found out that although glow in the dark juice in her eyes stings "like the dickens"- she would see again!  Amen and Hallelujah!
The kids may have gotten more excitement than they bargained for that night!

We had a frog jumping contest with our homemade lilypad catapults

This little man just didn't feel much up to flinging frogs.

After a visit to the Dr. and another day or so he was feeling his silly self again!

He and the rest of the gang were up for some messy fun!
After enjoying the book "Bartholemew and the Oobleck" we made some of our own oobleck!  SO COOL!

SO FUN!

Nana may have had more fun than the kids!

We had great fun racing down the hill on bikes and scooters.  These kiddos were fearless. I could barely keep up with Kyson and his pink cart! I sure got my exercise running after him- trying to make sure he didn't crash and burn. Later in the week, Caden had a spectacular crash - but he took it like a man!

We braved the tub again  and instead of "painting the town" we painted the tub!

Thanks Brooklyn, Caden and Kyson for treating Karli and Nana to amazing fun-filled week!
WE HAD A BLAST!
