A Wedding!

January 19, 2013

We were very excited to finally have a relative's wedding in California, closer to home! Brandon and his lovely bride, Jessica Farrell, were married in the Redlands Temple on January 19, 2013.  Redlands is only about 45 minutes from Gary's home, so this meant everyone in our family that was in CA could attend.  Yeah!  Even our newly endowed future missionary, Karli, got to go to a sealing before her mission- pretty cool!
Kelli and Ryan stayed home from the sealing to take care of the little ones,
but we were thrilled to have three of our children with us.
The evening before the wedding we met in San Bernardino
for a lovely dinner at a restaurant.
Great food and so fun meeting Jessica and her family and friends-
and especially seeing John, Phyllis, Brandon, David, Jeremy, Melody
and meeting the newest little Kuhre- Carter!
On Saturday morning Brandon and Jessica were sealed in a lovely
 ceremony in the Redlands Temple!
Here are the new Mr. & Mrs. just coming out of the temple!

Such a handsome couple!

We loved visiting with David

(We missed you, Karen)

Kuhre Family Photo- somehow we missed taking
one with the "stars" of the day, Brandon and Jessica.
I think they were off taking their wedding photos.

From there it was a quick trip back to Gary's to get Kelli and the kids and
Ryan and his kids drove to the reception to meet us.
These two silly girls "hamming " it up in the car on the way there.

The reception was held at an rustic farm and it was just lovely.
The Farrell's did such a great job decorating!
The evening began with a touching ring ceremony.

Then it was inside the to the barn, where it was much warmer, and we planted our Miller, Kuhre, Moberly crew under the ceiling heaters! The tables were lovely!

Dinner was yummy and there was a quaint "bluegrass"
type of band which played fun music that had the little ones
dancing all night long.  In fact Ky and Aiden spent most of the
night rolling on the floor and playing on the hay bales!

Watching the bride dance with her father and  new husband was so sweet!

We were so excited to see our cousin, Diane Newns, and grandaughter, Zoe, show up.
David and I had fun catching up with her all night!

Karli got to hold little Carter while his parents danced.

Sending the bride and groom off with a sea full of bubbles!
What a great wedding! Best wishes and much happiness to a darling couple!

We finished the weekend off by traveling down to Grandpa and Grandma's in San Diego.
In La Jolla, Karli took her last walk on the beach for 18 months.
Oh- how she is going to miss being on the beach!
(Looks like I got some serious "Alfalfa" hair goin' on there!)
What a great weekend we had.  It was SO fun to see family that we don't usually
get to see too often and celebrate the happy event of a family wedding!
