We took Karli down to Simi Valley on our President's Day weekend holiday of February 15-18, so she could spend some time with Kristal's family before she left for her mission. Luckily the weekend coincided with her BYU Idaho rommate's visit to the LA temple where she received her endowments in preparation to serve a mission to The Netherlands.
We were so happy to be there for Rebecca- one of Karli's dear friends.
The rest of the weekend it was play, play, play- just what Auntie Karli is best at!
There was basketball!
and there was jump roping- a new favorite of Brookie's. What fun it was to flashback to
my elementary school days, teaching Brooklyn some old jump rope rhymes
I remembered- and then she taught us a few new ones too!
Papa and the boys took a turn on the swings!

There was an impromptu dance party- thank you to
"One Direction"- Karli and Brookie's favorite!

and then Sunday movie night- a Moberly family tradition!
Last photo of these two sisters for awhile
They sure are going to miss each other.
Last goodbyes were tearful for all- 18 months won't be able to go by fast enough-
especially for Karli and Brookie- who are "best buds"!
