August 3, 2011
The highlight of our Miller Beach Vacation was the 90th birthday celebration of our patriarch- Jack Miller. Dad turned 90 on June 18, 2011, but we since we were all gathered together at the beach we celebrated on August 2, 2011--and what a celebration it was! Grandma Nadine planned a fabulous party fit for a king. He even had a royal court.
Here are grandaughters, Karli, Megan and Tifanee
who clothed him in his royal robe and crown
Little Pages announced his entry with their royal horns
and little ladies- in-waiting threw rose petals in his path
Here comes the Birthday King!
Each one of Dad's children and their families paid tribute to him.
Photos of some of the tributes
The great grandchildren sung to him and blew him kisses
All of Dad's children were there and we were only missing 4 of his
grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Perfect time for some family photos

Dad and his six children
With 14 of his 18 grandchildren
Grandpa with 15 of his 18 great grandchildren
There are 3 more great grandkids on the way in 2012!
Some sweet photos with Grandpa Jack
After a lovely program we feasted on a yummy dinner and ate birthday cake while
we watched a slide show of Dad's life.
It was clear that everyone had a fabulous time
Karli and cousin Lora Avery dancing
Looks like Marty had a little too fabulous of a time!
Couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a Miller Family photo
(only missing our missionary Michael)
What a great night to honor a great man! Even at 90 years old, Grandpa outworks and
outdoes the rest of us at almost everything!
Thanks Grandpa for being such an amazing dad and grandpa!
